ABOUT ME
My 35
years in the refractory business gave me a comprehensive knowledge in the field
of hot face lining.
I
have been responsible for major sales, installation, technical support and
project management on the international market for cement, pulp & paper and
steel/metal industries, both for refractory and acid proof materials.
I am
especially proud to be one of the developers of the Energy saving concept and
sustainable designs for rotary kilns,
preheaters, ladles and other production units.
MY EXPERIENCE
In early years I worked as a bricklayer and helper. It was then my keen interest in refractories was formed, and I felt a desire to
enhance my skills and knowledge about refractory linings.
After graduating from Karlstad Technical college (diploma in
Engineering) I worked for some years as a refractory designer for Knight Industriteknik AB.
Since September 1999 and up till
now I have been working for various refractory producing and installation
companies (such as Megamet ab, Macon ab, Höganäs Borgestad ab) as a project leader and sales manager for pulp & paper, cement and steel markets in Sweden, Europe, CIS,
America and Asia.
My
professional experience also includes organization and control of large-scale
turn-key installation projects and coordination with customs,
product certifications and visa formalities outside EC.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Some
of my achievements during my professional career are:
Development of a double lining concept,
selection of refractory materials and installation techniques for rotary kilns
in order to reduce CO2 emissions and increase of production for
various industries.
Participation in the creation of the
Energy saving concept (approved
and applied by many cement producers), calculations, and corrosion protection
design for the cement industry with the focus on carbon dioxide problems.
New designs for torpedo, transmission/
transportation ladles and pig iron ladles aimed at longer refractory life and
less drop time of steel temperature for the steel and metal industries.
